Visiting Scholars Program Page | ||
We have had an active program for visiting scholars over the years. Typically one or more senior visitors work with the group during the summer and occasionally during the academic year. The group has often hosted and continues to host post docs, graduate students, and undergraduates. Typically the visiting graduate students have done the research for their thesis project in the group for their Ph.D. or Master's degree. Senior Visitors Many senior visitors come here with their own funding. Some visitors are able to qualify for travel support through one of several programs. There are short term programs, e.g. weeks in summer that are generally straightforward. We have also hosted Fulbright Scholars. There are also senior Miller Research Fellowships and Professorships. See the Miller Institute for more information. Post-Doctoral Positions Some post docs have their own fellowships and we are able to host them. A current list of positions is here. Graduate Student Research Associates are listed here. Most foreign students must have their own fellowships which we are able to act as host. Undergraduate positions are listed here. Most foreign students must have their own fellowships which we are able to act as host. Contact for visa information and formal procedures for visitors:
