works on astrophysics and cosmology projects involving the Cosmic Far infra-red Background, AGN, and interstellar medium.

Bruce has been collaborating with Dr. Smoot ever since he was an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, making 10 GHz ground-based CMB measurements. Bruce returned here as a postdoc after receiving his Ph.D. in physics, and
is currently the Principle Investigator on the Cosmic Far-IR Background projects on the Spitzer Space Telescope, and also works on the GEM project with Dr. Smoot. He independently investigates low-luminosity AGN. Bruce is
also a climber and all-around outdoor adventurer.
